Hey there, this is the face behind Meraki Photography — your go-to girl for natural, stylish, and soulful photos in Sydney and beyond.
“Meraki” is a word that really resonated with me. It means putting your soul, creativity, and passion into your work — and for a long time, I was searching for something in my life that truly had meaning. Photography gave me that. You can't create something beautiful without heart, and that’s exactly what I bring to every shoot.
From wandering the streets of Hong Kong to capturing stories in Sydney — it’s always been about holding on to what matters.
Originally from Hong Kong, my love for photography started when I was a teenager. Back then, I didn’t have a car — just a camera, a tripod, and a group of close friends who loved exploring the city as much as I did. We’d wander around, hunting for Instagrammable spots, taking photos, and capturing little moments that felt big at the time.
Sometimes I’d plan full outings just to shoot with them — other times, I’d take random photos just to freeze that feeling in time. Now that I live overseas and many of those friends have also moved away from Hong Kong, I only get to see them once a year (if that). I’m so glad I carried my camera back then.
Those photos mean the world to me now. They’re not just snapshots — they’re pieces of our story. And I think that’s why I fell in love with photography. It lets you hold on to people, places, and moments, even when life moves on.

Why Meraki Photography is different
I’m a bubbly, outgoing ESTJ (Refer to 16 Personality Types) who loves meeting new people and making connections that go beyond the lens. Trendy things always catch my eye (I live for good design, clean lines, and beautiful lighting), and I bring that strong sense of style and attention to detail into every session.
What sets me apart is more than just the gear I use or how I edit — it’s how I see people. I have a good read on energy and emotion, and I know how to make even the most camera-shy feel relaxed and confident. I shoot both digital and film, so I can offer a mix of crisp modern images and nostalgic, vintage tones.
Working with me feels like hanging out with a friend who just happens to be really good with a camera.
